BYS Business Operations

Melinda Beeler, MBA, is Butterfield Youth Services' Director of Business Operations. The BYS Business Office is located in the Child and Family Therapy Center, at 1181 Highway WW, Marshall, Missouri, 65340.

Business Functions include:

• Good fiscal management is important to us. The BYS Board of Directors approves the budget and oversees the financial reports of the agency. An annual financial audit is conducted by Gerding, Korte, & Chitwood, CPA. A copy of the audit is available by contacting Melinda Beeler, "Barbara Mayfield" or Matt Van Vactor. The accounting staff manages the month-to-month financial records of the agency.
• We want our employees to enjoy working here. The business office manages all employee benefits including health insurance, life insurance, retirement programs and other benefits.
• We take pride in the condition of our facilities for children. Our maintenance department works hard to keep our homes clean and well maintained.
• Our Family of Friends makes our programs possible. The BYS business and development offices prepare all donor mailings locally, and acknowledges all donor gifts personally. Accurate recording of donor information is maintained by the accounting office.
• The Village Cellar Second Chance Shop is a community service provided by BYS and is operated under the supervision of the business office.
