BYS Professional Clinic

The BYS Professional Clinic is contained within the BYS Child and Family Therapy Center ('The BYS Center'), serving as a hub of coordinated professional support services to all of the BYS programs and their clientele. Professional services expressed from this clinic location are:

• Intake Needs Assessment and Coordination - Phyllis Palmer is BYS' Intake Coordinator. The Intake Coordinator is available to persons seeking BYS Services, and to guide them through the process. Contact PhyllisPalmer@bys-kids.org
• Overall direction of BYS Clinical Services operations is the responsibility of Keith Bishop, BYS Director of Treatment and Childcare Services. Keith may be reached at keithbishop@bys-kids.org
• Eight Licensed clinical professionals are located in the clinic. Each serves as a treatment team leader for a respective children's program or residence of BYS, and provides direct clinical therapy services to the children, individually and in group, and to their families. Each is qualified as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Marjory Restituto, MS, LPC is BYS' Clinical Services Supervisor, who oversees the work of each of the licensed clinical therapists. Marjory may be reached at marjoryrestituto@bys-kids.org
• Childcare Services Supervision is also centered from this clinic. Darren Facen, BYS Childcare Services Coordinator, provides overall coordination and supervision of BYS Childcare Services operations, and supervision over the management personnel of the seven BYS children's residential facilities. • Physical Health Care Services are also centered in this clinic. The Physical Health care needs of a daily BYS population up to 80 or more children is diverse. Health Care Services of BYS address the common health needs of all children and adolescents, illness, accidents, and an array of specialized health conditions presented in the population served at any given time.
