The South Ranch for Girls
Established in 1987, South Ranch was the second BYS childrenís residence dedicated to the needs of troubled young girls. The split-level home was originally built in the early 1980's as a single family residence. Butterfield built an addition to the home in 1989 to accommodate its larger ìfamilyî.
Youth served at the South Ranch are classified as Intensive Need (Level IV) by the Missouri Department of Social Services. South Ranch currently accommodates nine adolescent females.
