BYS Credentials and Affiliations
- BYS client services and employment practices do not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, ethnic origin, sex, religion, or handicapping condition.
- BYS serves children referred by the Missouri Division of Family Services, the Missouri Department of Mental Health, and the juvenile courts.
- BYS is supported by the charitable contributions of individuals, civic groups, and private organizations,in conjunction with service contracts with the state agencies, public school districts, and private third-party insurers.
- BYS is classified by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization, and donations to BYS are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.
- BYS is incorporated in the State of Missouri, as a private not-for-profit and non-sectarian organization.
- BYS is accredited nationally as a Children's Residential Treatment Center, by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children (COA) http://www.coanet.org/
- BYS is licensed by the Missouri Division of Family Services as a Children's Residential Care Agency and as a Child Placing Agency.
- All residential facilities of BYS are licensed by the Missouri Department of Mental Health.
